Skylar Steinberg is a dynamic professional with a diverse background in health research, creative arts, and community engagement. She holds a degree in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention with a focus on Health Care Administration/Management, as well as a minor in Songwriting from the University of Southern California.
Skylar has been a Research Assistant at USC since 2016, contributing to a long-term study on childhood obesity and diabetes in Kiritimati, Kiribati, one of the world's most affected regions. Her work involves demographic analysis, intervention planning, and research protocol development under the guidance of Dr. Michael Goran, a global expert in the field.
In addition to her research, Skylar has been a Social Media Manager since 2017, managing campaigns to raise awareness about the dangers of sugar consumption and supporting Dr. Goran's platform growth ahead of his book release.
As a passionate Singer-Songwriter, performing under the name Sky Renee, Skylar draws inspiration from '70s retro-pop. She has built an engaged audience of over 17,000 Instagram followers, garnered over a million video views, and achieved success on the Swedish music charts.
