Dr. Rebecca Coalson grew up in Las Cruces, New Mexico, attending Loma Heights Elementary where her father was a teacher and later a principal. She also attended Vista Middle school and was salutatorian of Tularosa High School. She earned a bachelor of science in biology from New Mexico State University and her medical degree from The University of New Mexico School of Medicine. Dr. Coalson started her career in obstetrics and gynecology at UNM Hospital in Albuquerque in 2008. She is board certified and a fellow of the American College of Gynecology and the owner of Southwest Gynecology, LLC.
